“Connecting roots” is 6 day partnership building seminar for representatives of organizations working in youth field. Project will be organized by ARTKRUH in natural environment of village Prenčov in Slovakia, nearby UNESCO town – Banská Štiavnica; 15.-22. September 2018. Venue is offering the experience of deeper personal and social interactions and sense of belonging to community in rural environment. As young people in rural areas face similar obstacles and challenges, we found necessary to coordinate activities and projects with other organizations from similar background. Also development of projects with logical continuity and longer vision is much more effective. We aim to host 32 participants from 10 countries of partner organizations.

Objectives of the project are sharing of ideas, tips and good practices concerning youth work in rural areas; developing joined actions on projects related to youth entrepreneurship, social exclusion and rural development; increasing amount of quality projects supporting entrepreneurship and creative industry among young people, specifically focused on connection between urban and rural areas; strengthening the network of organizations working in the field of youth entrepreneurship, social exclusion and rural development; developing KA2 project supporting entrepreneurship and creative industry among young people, specifically focused on connection between urban and rural areas. We expect this seminar to be a beginning of new European cooperation and a base for new projects supporting young people.
